POTRET24.COM – Perusahaan riset pasar NPD Group telah merilis laporan penjualan tertinggi untuk konsol permainan video dan game pada Juni 2018 di Amerika Serikat.
NES Classic Nintendo adalah konsol terlaris dalam jumlah total unit yang terjual, sedangkan Sony PlayStation 4 menduduki peringkat teratas dalam pendapatannya secara keseluruhan. Hal tersebut terjadi karena harga NES Classic jauh lebih terjangkau daripada PS4.
Sedangkan untuk video game, Mario Tennis Aces yang diproduksi Nintendo Switch menduduki peringkat pertama dalam game terlaris Juni 2018. Mario Tennis Aces mengalahkan game God of War yang menduduki posisi kedua dalam permainan terlaris di semua platform.
Secara keseluruhan, penjualan perangkat lunak pada Juni 2018 di konsol, portabel, dan PC mencapai $ 374 juta, yang turun 1 persen dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu. Namun, dengan kombinasi penjualan perangkat keras konsol, aksesoris dan perangkat lunak game, total pendapatan game Juni 2018 melonjak 25 persen menjadi $ 1,1 miliar.
